When you delete a document's heading or an entire page, normally an empty heading is left in the document - remove this by using the paragraph button or by using the HTML/Layout button to get hold of the HTML-code for the heading, which is to be deleted.
These rules provide a system to enable Space Marine Terminators to improve their combat abilities in a Space Hulk campaign. It makes some changes to the basic 1st edition rules, and introduces new weapons and systems, but the basic game and rules are unchanged, apart from 4 areas - close combat, wounds, flamers and assault cannons.
It is necessarily a paper intensive system, as you need to record the Marines kills and some other actions. An example of a record sheet is provided at the end of these rules. You will start with some Skill Points (S.P.s) and you will accrue more. You can spend these S.P.s on a variety of new abilities. If you do not keep a record you can not advance.
Initially you will run a squad of five marines, a sergeant and 4 marines, all armed with stormbolters and power gloves. They all have +0 in close assault and need a 6 to hit with a stormbolter.
You may choose alternative weapons and skills from the list below if you have the SP to pay for them
I suggest you start with 70 SP per squad, 20 of which must be used to purchase a Sergeant.
Alternatively you can roll randomly for a squad, the sergeant starts with D6 x D6 skill points, the marines get D3 x D6 skill points.
Each marine has 4 wounds - equivalent to APs. For each of the Genestealer’s dice that beat yours you take 1 wound. If any unmodified 6s are rolled in close combat the genestealer player may re-roll the dice and attempt to inflict another wound if the 6 is higher than all it’s opponents dice rolls. The dice may only be re-rolled once. A marine must miss 1 game for every wound inflicted upon him. A marine must miss 1 game for every wound inflicted upon him. Marines lose 1 AP every time they take a wound. A marine reduced to 0 wounds is dead.
Genestealers only have 1 wound (unless you are a sadist bug player, masochist marine or a very good marine player).
You may not spend more CPs on a marine than he has APs (in the Marine turn).
